Electric Operated Plastic Butterfly Valve

Electric Operated Plastic Butterfly Valve - 1258 Series

Electric Operated Plastic Butterfly Valves are designed for reliable ON–OFF and modulating flow control in chemical, water, and corrosive media applications. Manufactured from high-quality thermoplastics, these valves offer excellent corrosion resistance, lightweight construction, and long service life, making them ideal where metal valves are unsuitable.
Available in wafer and lug styles, plastic butterfly valves provide flexibility in installation. Wafer-type valves are cost-effective and commonly used, installed between two flanges, while lug-type valves allow disconnection of one side of the pipeline without disturbing the valve—ideal for maintenance and isolation requirements. Fitted with an electric actuator, the valve delivers precise 90° quarter-turn automation and seamless integration with control systems.

Design & Construction:

Solid one-piece moulded plastic body with a full-body liner isolates the shaft and valve body from the media, ensuring leak-free and corrosion-free operation.

Working Principle:

Working Principle
The electric actuator rotates the butterfly disc through a 90° quarter-turn motion
Open Position
Disc aligns parallel to the flow, allowing unrestricted passage
Closed Position
Disc rotates perpendicular to the flow, providing tight shut-off
Modulating Control
Intermediate disc positions allow accurate flow regulation
The full-body liner isolates the shaft and body from the media, ensuring leak-free and corrosion-free operation.

Automation & Control Options:

  • Control Modes: On/Off, Modulating (4–20 mA / 0–10 V)
  • Actuator Options: Single Phase, Three Phase, Explosion / Flame Proof
  • Feedback Systems: Limit Switches, Position Transmitter, Potentiometer
  • Communication: MODBUS (RS-485), PLC / DCS / SCADA Integration
