Pneumatic Diaphragm Seated Stainless Steel Valve

Pneumatic Diaphragm Seated Stainless Steel Valve – 1168 Series

The 1168 Series Diaphragm Seated Stainless Steel Valves from SUDE Engineering Pvt. Ltd. are high-purity, hygienic, air-operated control valves engineered for critical process applications in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food & beverage, dairy, and clean utility industries.

Manufactured with a precision-machined SS316L stainless steel body and a high-performance plastic piston actuator alternatively stainless steel piston actuator, these valves ensure complete physical isolation between the actuator and the process media. The flexible diaphragm design eliminates dead zones, prevents contamination, and complies with stringent hygienic and sterile processing standards.

The Tri-Clamp (TC) hygienic end connection enables fast installation, easy dismantling, and efficient cleaning, making the 1168 Series ideal for CIP/SIP systems, WFI distribution, purified water loops, clean steam lines, and sterile fluid handling.

Design & Construction:

Manufactured with a precision-machined SS316L stainless steel body and a high-performance plastic piston actuator alternatively stainless steel piston actuator. The flexible diaphragm design eliminates dead zones and ensures complete isolation between actuator and process media, supporting hygienic and sterile processing requirements.

Working Principle:

Pneumatic Actuation System
Compressed air activates the plastic piston actuator, smoothly moving the valve stem to open or close the valve for precise and reliable control.
Advanced Diaphragm
A flexible diaphragm tightly seals against the valve seat while fully isolating the actuator from process media, ensuring contamination-free performance.
Hygienic
Designed for leak-free operation, hygienic flow control, and extended service life, even during continuous CIP/SIP cleaning cycles.

Automation & Control Options:

  • Electro-pneumatic valve positioner (4–20 mA)
  • Valve travel indicator
  • Limit switch box with LED indication
  • Proximity sensors
  • Stroke limiting mechanism
  • Manual override
  • High-temperature and chemical-resistant diaphragms

Key Features & Advantages

  • Hygienic diaphragm design ensures complete isolation of process media
  • Zero dead zones for contamination-free CIP/SIP operation
  • High-purity SS316L body with excellent corrosion resistance
  • Ultra-smooth surface finish minimizes bacterial growth
  • Lightweight plastic piston actuator for fast, reliable operation
  • NAMUR-ready interface for easy automation and control
