Working Principle
Pneumatic butterfly valves operate through a 90° quarter-turn rotation driven by a pneumatic actuator
Open Position
Disc aligns parallel to the flow, allowing full passage
Closed Position
Disc rotates perpendicular to the flow, providing tight shut-off
Modulating Control
With a positioner, the actuator holds intermediate disc positions for controlled flow regulation
Spring-return actuators automatically move the valve to a predefined safe position during air failure.
