Pneumatic Operated Pinch Valve

Pneumatic Operated Pinch Valve TBD -1660- SP series

SUDE Pneumatic Operated Pinch Valves are engineered for efficient and reliable flow control in applications involving slurry, abrasive, corrosive, and solid-laden media. The valve operates by compressing a flexible elastomer sleeve using a pneumatic actuator, ensuring complete isolation of the process fluid from the valve body and mechanical components.

This sleeve-based design eliminates cavities, seats, and internal obstructions, preventing clogging, scaling, and wear. As a result, pinch valves offer zero leakage, extended service life, and minimal maintenance, even in the most challenging operating conditions.

With fast pneumatic actuation and simple construction, these valves are ideal for high-cycle, continuous-duty, and harsh process environments where conventional valves often fail.

Design & Construction:

Full-bore elastomer sleeve design eliminates metal contact with process media and provides self-cleaning, clog-free operation suitable for abrasive and slurry services.

Working Principle:

Open Position
Pneumatic actuator releases pressure allowing sleeve to return to round shape enabling full flow
Closed Position
Cylinder compresses elastomer sleeve stopping flow completely
Sealing Mechanism
Sleeve acts as sealing element ensuring bubble-tight shut-off.

Automation & Control Options:

  • Control Modes: On/Off, Modulating
  • Actuator Types: Spring Return (Fail-Safe), Double Acting
  • Feedback Systems: Limit Switch Box, Position Transmitter
  • Position Control: Pneumatic / Electro-Pneumatic Positioner, I/P Converter
  • Control Interface: Local / Remote Operation
