Glass Valves
Glass Valves | 6600 Series
Glass Valves are specially designed for safe and precise control of highly corrosive and hazardous chemicals, particularly in applications where visual monitoring of flow is critical. Manufactured using Borosilicate Glass Type 3.3, these valves offer excellent chemical resistance, thermal stability, and long service life.
The transparent valve body allows operators to visually observe flow conditions, detect crystallization, scaling, blockages, or abnormal flow patterns, and take corrective action before process failure occurs. Glass valves are widely used in pickling plants, acid regeneration systems, chemical processing units, and reactor feed lines, where handling strong acids and aggressive media is routine. Glass valves are constructed with a borosilicate glass body combined with PTFE internal components, ensuring superior resistance to corrosion and chemical attack. The smooth internal surface prevents media build-up and enables easy flushing and cleaning.
The valve design supports ON–OFF as well as modulating control, making it suitable for both isolation and flow regulation duties in critical chemical processes.
